The Institute for Culture and Tourism Development (ICTD) is a university level institution of Beijing Technology and Business University. The aim of ICTD is to advance the integration of culture and tourism, strengthen the application of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, promote the intellectualization and modernization of teaching, scientific research and social service in Beijing Technology and Business University, and serve the cultural and tourism development of the nation, the Capital, and the local areas. The objectives of ICTD is to promote and develop tourism research with both theory and practice, to cultivate a high-level tourism research team highlighting the “School of Beijing Technology and Business University” with interdisciplinary integration, to build case-based database of tourism research, and to provide multidisciplinary forums and platforms for domestic and international academic exchanges.
